When early intervention is integrated with the principles of neuroplasticity (the brain's ability to reorganize and adapt), there is the potential for significant changes in strength, tone, posture, balance, coordination, and gross motor performance. Intensive physical therapy, offered at REPLAY REHAB, is a focused and concentrated therapeutic approach. Intensives provide the demand and dosage needed to retrain the brain and body to work together so that a child can proficiently learn a skill. Ongoing research is supporting the many benefits of this model demonstrating evidence of big changes in a short amount of time! REPLAY REHAB offers both pediatric intensives and traditional PT. Generally speaking, intensive sessions are longer and occur daily for 2-4 consecutive weeks and traditional sessions occur weekly or bimonthly over an extended period of time.
